Our client purchased this home a few years ago with the goal of retiring here within five years.  They asked us to design a home where they could age in place.  Our design includes three separate additions, a master suite, a major improvement to the kitchen and dining area, and enclosing the carport to create a woodworking shop.

The main goal of the design was to provide the client with ongoing comfort through the next 20-25 years of their lives and accommodate large family gatherings.  We also wanted to highlight the hobbies they enjoy and plan to make more full-time activities; he in his shop and she to develop a more beautiful landscape on their large lot.

Working with our 3D CAD program we were able to provide a 3D model that allowed the client to see the visual impacts of the proposed design.  In addition, we selected three color schemes that we feel will work well with the existing colors and modeled these alternates for them.
