MGN Condominium, Madison Park, Seattle, WA

This three-unit condominium building was designed and built for three custom clients. Each unit has a different plan layout in response to their differing goals and lifestyles. The interior of each space is unique to each owner’s individual taste, while the design highlights the views of Lake Washington through a waterfront park. The roof of the building was designed to accommodate a roof deck for all occupants.  The building is served by an elevator and also provides secure parking and storage below the building, accessible from the elevator and the east side of the structure.

We resolved the complex issues of framing, HVAC and plumbing runs within our office, and worked with a structural engineering firm to integrate the loading conditions onto the post tensions concrete slab over the six space parking garage. Acoustical issues were addressed with close attention to sound transfer between units. The building is well detailed and is standing up to the test of time with the help of the owners’ attention to detail.
